| Me? I’m Michael Keener, owner and operator of KeenerWorks. I am a graphic designer, cartoonist, and avid reader. I graduated from the University of Missouri with a BFA (emphasis in Graphic Design). I’m based in the heart of midtown Kansas City, MO, in the Old Hyde Park area. I work with both PC and Mac (though I greatly prefer the Mac), and I could probably stand to lose some weight, which is why I go to Gold’s Gym. My favorite designers are generally working in print; specifically, Chip Kidd and the late Saul Bass. My favorite non-design stuff is as follows: cheese ravioli, chicken chimichangas, comics, Kurt Vonnegut books, Stephen King books, Magnum, PI reruns, Unsolved Mysteries (the classic Robert Stack version), most forms of music, and Pittsburgh Steelers football games.
